Tab Session Manager ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Extension handles your information.
Summary: Tab Session Manager stores all your data locally on your device. We don't collect, transmit, or share any of your information. Your privacy is completely protected.
Data Collection
What We Collect
Tab Session Manager collects and stores the following information locally on your device only:
- Tab URLs: The web addresses of tabs you save in sessions
- Tab Titles: The titles of web pages in your saved sessions
- Favicon URLs: Links to website icons for display purposes
- Session Names: Names you give to your saved sessions
- User Preferences: Your settings (auto-save preference, display options, etc.)
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do NOT collect any personal information
- We do NOT collect browsing history beyond what you explicitly save
- We do NOT collect passwords, form data, or cookies
- We do NOT track your browsing activity
- We do NOT use analytics or tracking services
- We do NOT share any data with third parties
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local). Your data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not transmitted to any external servers
- Is not accessible to us or any third party
- Is automatically deleted when you uninstall the extension
Data Usage
The collected data is used solely to:
- Save and restore your browser tab sessions
- Display session information in the extension popup
- Enable import/export functionality for backup purposes
- Remember your preferences
Permissions Explained
The Extension requires the following permissions:

Data Export
You can export your sessions at any time using the Export feature. This creates a JSON file on your device that you control completely.
Data Deletion
To delete all Extension data:
- Click the Extension icon
- Go to Settings
- Delete individual sessions, or
- Uninstall the Extension (removes all data automatically)
Children's Privacy
This Extension does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
